When should I book my newborn session?

During your 2nd trimester is the best time to book your newborn session. To ensure space on my calendar, it is best to have your session booked before your baby arrives. My clients deserve the best possible experience, therefore, I book a limited number of newborn session due dates each month.

BBP will reserve your due date and once your baby arrives, you will notify me to schedule your actual session date.

How long will the session be?

These sessions run about 3 hours. In fact, I only schedule one a day. Your baby’s session is my complete focus without distractions.

Most importantly, it takes time to work with newborns to ensure their complete comfort. I don’t rush them into anything they don’t want to do. There’s always time for feeding and cuddles when they need it.

How old should my baby be for their session?

Newborns are photographed under 30 days new.

Their first month they tend to be a bit sleepier and easier to pose. Once they are past a month, they tend to be awake more often and startle easily.

If, however, you have an older infant, please reach out. I have photographed plenty of older newborns and would not want you to miss out on photos, as long as my schedule permits.

Where will the photo session take place?

Newborn sessions take place in my studio in West Seneca, NY. The studio is located about a mile from the 400 expressway.

Clients have exclusive access to my extensive collection of props, wardrobe, and accessories to make their session a success.

You can relax knowing that everything is taken care of, and we’ve created the perfect atmosphere with your newborn’s comfort in mind. Sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your little one being photographed.

Can my partner and my baby’s sibling be part of the session?

Absolutely! I welcome and encourage it. It’s time to celebrate adding a new little family member.

You are always welcome to my what to wear guide for the entire family in my helpful prep guide.

Health and Safety

The health and safety of your baby is my top priority!

We clean and sanitize the studio before and after each session. Fabrics are washed in the most gentle of detergents. Shoe’s are not permitted in the studio.

In case of illness of photographer or client, we will reschedule the session.

Teaching newborn posing and safety in the U.S. and Canada to other newborn photographers was my focus. The health and safety of your little one and their comfort comes firs.
