This sweet little face came to see me with her whole family! I photographed her big sister as a newborn and for her first birthday. Such a sweet family and so much fun every time I see them. Being only almost 2 years apart big sis has already got her role covered. She loves her baby. I love seeing these little ones with their siblings and they looked so much alike too!

One quick myth about newborn sessions.

NEWBORNS HAVE TO BE UNDER 2 WEEKS OLD OR IT’S TOO LATE. While I do highly suggest newborns to be under 30 days when they come to the studio, it’s not to say this is THE rule. I will never turn away a baby based on their age, I’ve photographed plenty of older newborns. The reason I highly suggest seeing them at under 30 days new is because this time is so fleeting. The grow so quickly and you want to capture how little they were when they arrived, their little flakes, how tiny their features were and how small they were compared to you. Once a month passes they become a little more alert, more touchy, and I will be posing and moving them around which makes posing a bit more challenging. They are also used to being all curled up inside the womb so the poses you see in my work are comfortable for them. As they grow, and they grow quickly, those poses become more difficult.
