It didn’t take me long at all to realize that I was in love with this type of session. A brand new hospital session really couldn’t be more fun! I get to meet this amazing, brand new life, sometimes not even 24 hours old. I get to be there as a fly on the wall while capturing a family bringing a new life into this world. It’s such an amazing gift to be able to document this time.
I know first hand that this is all gone in a flash, some women are only in the hospital for 48 hours and some like me don’t remember much. I needed images to take me back. I had blood pressure issues after I delivered and they couldn’t sit me up or I would pass out. My husband had to take pictures but he couldn’t get everything I wanted, all those little details that you don’t want to forget. He was so caught up in the moment and who could blame him, he just brought his first child into this world! This is why I feel so honored to be that person now. I don’t want to miss a thing for you, you can sit back and enjoy the moment and know that someone has it. This session means a whole lot to me as it was pretty much my first but this sweet little girl is related to me! She’s our cousin and I can’t wait to watch this little one grow. Thank you Vastola family for letting me be a part of your story.
